Dried Flowers and Herbs

2    cups red rosebuds

1    cup grape hyacinth flowers

1    cup sweet pea blossoms

½   cup lavender flowers

½   cup lemon verbena leaves

½   cup mint leaves


Essential Oils

20   drops tuberose oil

8   drops bergamot oil

4   drops lemon verbena oil



¼    cup mixed ground cinnamon and ground cloves


Finishing Touches

¼    cup pressed and gilded pansy flowers

¼    cup blue star confetti


Wrap with a beautiful blue-violet satin ribbon.  Accompanied by a box of chocolates or a bottle of good red wine, celebrate the glory of a summer night with someone you love!

Essential oils

20  drops lemon verbena oil

10  drops rose oil

5   drops lavender oil



¼   cup ground calamus root


Textured Elements

¼   cup green cardamom pods


Finishing Touches

½   cup primrose blossoms

½   cup wood sorrel blossoms

¼   cup gold star confetti


Package the blend in a small cut-crystal bowl tied up with opulent lemon yellow or pale green French ribbon.  Glorious!

you will need:


45 ml/ 3 tbsp. freshly ground sunflower seeds

45 ml/ 3 tbsp. medium oatmeal

45 ml/ 3 tbsp. flaked sea salt

45 ml/ 3 tbsp. finely grated orange peel

3                      drops of grapefruit essential oil

almond oil


Mix together well all the ingredients except the almond oil and store in a sealed glass jar.  Using just a little at a time, mix with some almond oil to make a thick paste, then rub over the face and body, paying particular attention to areas of dry skin such as the elbows, knees and ankles.  Wipe off any residue with a tissue before showering or bathing.
